The Cisco Meraki MR42 is a cloud-managed four-radio 3×3 MU-MIMO 802.11ac Wave 2 access point. The MR42 is designed for next-generation deployments in offices, schools, hospitals, shops, and hotels, and it provides performance, security, and easy management. The MR42 has a maximum frame rate of 1.9 Gbps and concurrent 802.11ac Wave 2 and 802.11n 3×3:3 MIMO radios. A third radio is dedicated to real-time WIDS/WIPS with automated RF optimization. A fourth integrated radio provides Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) scanning and beaconing functionality.
