Choosing an NVIDIA Supplier in Dubai: Three Product Families, Three Sets of Rules
A good NVIDIA supplier in Dubai is one that can tell you which of NVIDIA's three product families your job needs, who will honour the warranty in the UAE, and what paperwork a data centre GPU brings with it. GeForce, professional RTX and data centre cards carry different licence terms, warranty routes and export obligations, and a supplier who quotes all three the same way has skipped the part that protects you.
NVIDIA itself sells data centre products through what it calls select NVIDIA Partner Network partners, and its partner page names three membership levels, Registered, Preferred and Elite. Knowing that structure, and the questions below, will tell you more about a supplier than a logo on its website.
The three families and why they are bought differently
The rules in this table come from NVIDIA's driver licence agreement version dated 25 February 2025, its GeForce and RTX PRO warranty pages, and its data centre pages, all read on 14 October 2026.
| Family | Typical cards | Where the licence lets it run | Warranty route | Extra checks |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| GeForce | RTX 3080, RTX 4080, RTX 4090 | Hardware you own, not a datacenter (section 2.8) | 3 years for NVIDIA-branded cards via your distributor or reseller; partner boards on the maker's terms | Board model, power supply, chassis |
| Professional RTX | RTX A4000, RTX 4000 Ada, RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell | Outside the GeForce clause in section 2.8 | 3 years from purchase on NVIDIA's RTX PRO page, via your distributor or reseller | ECC memory, certified workstation |
| Data centre | A100 40 GB and 80 GB | Servers with directed airflow | Confirm in writing with the supplier | Certified server, US export rules |
GeForce
Section 2.8 of NVIDIA's driver licence says GeForce or Titan software is licensed only for GeForce or Titan hardware you own and is not licensed for datacenter deployment. That one sentence settles a common Dubai request: a rack of gaming cards in a colocation hall to run shared AI work. A supplier who quotes that build without mentioning the clause has left you to find it later. Our notes on the RTX 4080, the RTX 3080 and the RTX 3060 cover the desk-side cases where GeForce is a reasonable choice.
Professional RTX
NVIDIA's RTX PRO warranty page sets cover at three years from the date of purchase and tells buyers who bought through a third party to contact their local distributor or reseller. The practical point for a UAE buyer is that the supplier is your first stop for a failed card, so you want one that will still be there, at a fixed address, in year three.
Data centre
Data centre GPUs are where the supplier's role widens. NVIDIA publishes a Qualified System Catalog of partner servers that have passed thermal, mechanical, power and signal checks, and names Dell, HPE, Lenovo and Supermicro among the makers in its certified programme. Export rules also apply, which the NVIDIA A100 note covers in detail.
What changed for the UAE in July 2026
A US Commerce Department rule, Federal Register document 2026-14132, published on 14 July 2026 and effective from 10 July 2026, moved the UAE into Country Group A:5. It kept licence requirements for advanced computing items destined to or within the UAE, except where the consignee and end users are UAE government agencies or the approved entities listed in supplement no. 8 to part 740. Other UAE commercial entities may request an advisory opinion from BIS to be added.
For a buyer, the test of a supplier is simple. On a data centre GPU order, a competent supplier asks who the end user is and what the hardware will do. One that asks nothing is not making the order easier. It is moving the risk onto you.
How to check a supplier's NVIDIA status
NVIDIA's partner page links to a Partner Locator and lists seven competencies a partner can hold: Compute, DGX AI Compute Systems, Embedded Compute, Networking, NVIDIA Enterprise Software, NVIDIA Technologies and Visualization. Two cautions apply when you use it.
- A listing is a relationship, not an entitlement. It tells you the company is in the programme. It does not prove the specific card on your quotation came through that channel.
- Many sellers buy through a distributor. A reseller that is not listed can still sell genuine stock bought from one that is. Ask which distributor the stock comes from, the same question our guide to buying direct, through a distributor or through a reseller sets out for other brands.
Five questions to send any NVIDIA supplier in Dubai
- Which exact model is this? NVIDIA sells cards under one name with different memory. The RTX 3060 comes as 12 GB on a 192-bit interface or 8 GB on 128-bit, and the RTX 3080 as 10 GB or 12 GB. The quotation should name the full board model.
- Who accepts a warranty return in the UAE, and from what date does cover run? NVIDIA's three years run from the date of purchase, so check that the date on the invoice is your company's purchase and that the invoice is in your company's name.
- Is this card licensed for where I plan to run it? A GeForce card in a data centre is outside section 2.8.
- Which server or workstation is it certified in? For A100 and professional cards, ask for the system model and check it against NVIDIA's catalog.
- What export questions apply? For data centre GPUs, ask what end-user information the supplier needs and how long any authorisation could take.
A supplier that answers those five in writing has shown you where it sits in NVIDIA's chain. Our guide to reading an enterprise hardware quotation line by line covers the rest of the document.
What Codeeo Tech lists from NVIDIA
Codeeo Tech's NVIDIA range runs from the RTX A400 and RTX 2000 Ada Generation through the RTX A4000, RTX A5000 and RTX 4000 Ada to the RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Workstation Edition 96 GB, with the A100 40 GB and 80 GB for servers and GeForce RTX 3080, 4080, 4090 and 5090 cards for desk-side work. Servers from Dell EMC, HPE, Lenovo and Supermicro sit in the same catalogue. Every item is priced through Add to Quote.
